We needed to know more about our issue so... mrs. Deigarrd came over and shared her vast knowledge with us.
Questions we asked:






  • What is going to happen as Texas population is growing? while the budget is decreasing?how will it effect schools?students? teachers?

  • If Texas population grows then we have more people paying taxes - will that help? - Ningzhi

  • Is this a problem is Texas only? or the whole United states? - Isaiah

  • How can the state of Texas fix this?

  • What is the president doing about this?- connor

  • What will happen when we have more students, but less money?

  • What about schools that don't have Mr. Baker, or a strong PTO like ours?
    Budget cut = spending less as a result of recession in the US?

  • What is recession? what is inflation?

  • How do constituents know what we want, or need when they represent us????

  • What do you think they should do to help?

  • What is the Texas rainy day fund? A saving account, or "piggy bank".

  • 27,000,000,000 dollars short of funding

  • How much does Texas have in its savings, or "rainy day fund"? 9,000,000,000 dollars

  • How does the budget cut affect our school? Ask Mr. Baker

  • What will happen with lack of education? what does the future hold?
